Common questions

Will checking my options affect my CIBIL score?

No. Wishfin uses a soft enquiry to prepare your plan, which is not visible to lenders and does not affect your score. A hard enquiry happens only when you choose to apply with a specific lender. Consolidating usually improves it over time, because your credit card utilisation drops and you show steady payments on one loan.

How much can I realistically reduce my EMI?

Most customers cut their total monthly EMI by 15–30%. The bigger the share of credit card debt you're carrying, the bigger the drop, because you're moving from 36–42% interest to 10–14%.

What documents will I need?

PAN, Aadhaar, your last three months' salary slips (or ITR if self‑employed) and bank statements. Most partner banks verify these digitally, so there's no paperwork to courier.

Can I get extra funds along with the consolidation?

Yes. Kotak, HDFC, ICICI and Bajaj Finance among others offer a top‑up on the new loan, and some add an overdraft line where you pay interest only on what you draw.

Is there any fee for Wishfin's service?

No. The comparison and expert call are free. Wishfin earns a referral fee from the partner lender. You pay the lender's processing fee and applicable GST, which are disclosed in the sanction letter before you sign anything.

What happens if I miss an EMI?

The lender charges a late payment fee and penal interest as per its schedule, and the missed payment is reported to credit bureaus, which can lower your CIBIL score. Borrow only what you can comfortably repay.

Every month you wait costs you interest

On ₹5 lakh of card debt at 42%, a loan at 11% could save roughly ₹8,700 a month in EMI. Get your free, no‑obligation plan.
